Designed for comfort, durability and fewer persistent materials.
The cotton and hemp fabric was chosen for its weight, texture, softness and durability. Laundered for a soft, lived-in feel from the first wear.
We removed the plastic components commonly hidden in clothing, from stretch fibers to sewing thread and labels. This reduces sources of plastic microfiber shedding during wear and washing and leaves fewer persistent plastic materials behind.
The fabric is dyed using dyes and processing inputs that meet GOTS chemical requirements. These requirements restrict substances associated with harm to people or the environment and require wastewater to be treated.
Made in Los Angeles by a woman-owned factory, working closely with AFTR from pattern development through cutting and sewing.
